This is a fun and challenging mode that is absolutely worth giving a shot. However, in Survival mode, if you don't stick together your team will quickly crumble and you'll lose. While it's obvious that working together is a core component of Insurgency: Sandstorm's intense gameplay, in most modes players can go off on their own and fare relatively well. Competitive takes place in the Firefight game mode where the main goal is to capture three objectives or eliminate the enemy team. Ranging from lowest to highest the ranks are: Bronze Silver Gold Platinum Diamond Gameplay. There are 5 tiers of ranks with each rank having 5 levels. It requires a lot of teamwork and planning to ensure that no one gets left behind or killed unexpectedly. Winning matches will advance you through the ranks. Survival is a brutal game mode that is challenging for even the most veteran of players. However, ammunition is in short supply, so you'll have to capture various scattered points across the map in order to replenish your supplies. You'll start with nothing but a pistol and must kill the enemy in order to steal their weapons. The player and their team are dropped into one of Insurgency: Sandstorm's many vast maps and is tasked with surviving against an onslaught of enemy AI. The Commander is grouped in the class menu below. Perhaps the most unique class is Commander. This is evidenced by the different range weapons that are available to each as well as differences in available loadout options. Survival is another of Insurgency: Sandstorm's many cooperative modes and is by far the best mode in the game. One of the enjoyable aspects of Insurgency Sandstorm is the ability to pick a class. While fans likely wont consider it one of the best first-person shooters any time soon, its newfound accessibility on consoles means that it is attracting a much wider audience. Without proper teamwork and coordination, you'll almost certainly falter. Insurgency: Sandstorm, the hit sequel to 2014s Insurgency, is a tactical first-person shooter. Working together with your teammates and ensuring you have each other's backs covered is key to your survival. Hiding out in corners won't save you if you're prepared for what's about to come around that corner. Insurgency: Sandstorm's quick time-to-kill also means that defending a point can be extremely difficult. Attempting to keep your positions safe from the incoming enemy team all while pushing forward and breaking through their defenses is incredibly difficult. While Push has an attacking team and a defending team, Frontline has two attacking teams who must also simultaneously attempt to defend their own objectives. However, where Frontline differs and therefore exceeds is by having both teams attempt to complete this objective.
